Fees 2017 – 2018
£36.00 per full day 7:30 – 5:30
£22.00 per half day
£4.00 per hour for any additional hours
Fees include home-cooked lunch, morning & afternoon snacks and all outings. Generally speaking, you only need to supply nappies and infant formula.
Fees are payable monthly in advance.
Term-Time Only Contracts
With four children of my own, I choose not to work during my children’s school holidays and therefore only accept term-time only contracts. However, I try to be flexible and occasional extra days may be possible with prior arrangement. Unlike most childminders, I do not charge any fees during school holidays.
Childcare Vouchers and Tax-Free Childcare
As an Ofsted Registered Childminder, I am able to accept payment via either of these government initiatives to help working parents.
Childcare Vouchers are available via your employer and are free from tax and National Insurance contributions. They are available to both basic rate and higher rate tax payers and offer savings to each parent of almost £1000 per year. I can easily register with any voucher scheme that your employer uses.
The new Tax-Free Childcare is due to be rolled out slowly from early 2017. Paying for childcare using either of these schemes may have an impact on your tax credits.
Free Early Education/30 hours Free Childcare
I am registered with Lancashire County Council and have experience of providing Free Early Education. This is a government scheme which entitles some 2 year olds and ALL 3 and 4 year olds to 15 hours of free early years childcare for 38 weeks per year (ie. term-time). In addition, most working parents of 3 and 4 year olds can claim an additional 15 hours childcare per week. You can supplement your child’s FEE by paying for any extra hours or days that you require.
I am closed on statutory bank holidays and do not charge for these dates.
I am closed during Brindle Gregson Lane Primary School holidays and do not charge for these dates.
I try my very best to remain open at all other times during term-time but on the rare occasion that I am forced to close (due to my own or family sickness or other emergency), I reimburse the day’s fees.
I choose to work four days a week, term-time only but occasional extra days may be possible.
