Body Paint

Another day of scorching weather and how should we take advantage of it today? With some fun outdoor painting. If you’re going to try this at home, then careful preparation is advised. Luckily, I’ve done this a few times before so I was well prepared. As you can see, the boys had a fab time getting messy!

*** Set out your painting area in the shade if possible. Use pebbles to weigh down the strips of wallpaper. Fill a paddling pool with bath-temperature water (bare in mind that it’s going to cool down a bit before they get in). Have a cloth/sponge and some soap handy, plus an old towel that you don’t mind getting paint on. Wear an apron yourself to protect your own clothes and remove your footwear. Squirt the paint onto paper plates and provide brushes/stampers/sticks/whatever. Have a plastic bag handy to put the plates etc. in at the end. Prepare drinks, cream up your children and put them in disposable swim nappies. ***
