My name is Fay Parker. I am 40 years old and have been married to Garry (a software engineer) for 17 years. We have four children: two girls aged 11 and 9 and two boys aged 7 and 5, all at primary school. I have a language degree and worked as an International Sales and Marketing Manager for an intruder alarm manufacturer for seven years after graduating. I then gave up work when my first child was born, as I wanted to be able to devote that time to my family.
I thoroughly enjoyed my time as a full-time mum and childminding was an obvious and natural career choice for me. I became an Ofsted Registered Childminder in March 2012. I am lucky to be able to do something I love while being there for my own young family. I enjoy working with young children and making a positive difference to their and their families’ lives. The children I care for are welcomed into our home and offered the same loving environment as my own children.
With four young children of my own, I choose to work three days a week, term-time only and I do not offer after school care. This means that I can offer a stable home-from-home environment where the children really get to know each other and form lasting friendships.
I am located on Brindle Road, close to the Hospital Inn and mid-way between Hoghton and Bamber Bridge (Preston PR5 6YN).
